University of South Carolina Koger Center for the Arts

Master jazz drummer Justin Varnes will present two concerts, The Music of Herbie Hancock and The Music of Miles Davis at the Koger Center for the Arts preceded by an educational talk and audience Q & A.  He will lead a master class at USC School of Music.  The concerts and accompanying musician interviews will be aired on ColaJazz Presents on SC Public Radio.  A recording of the concert will be offered to SC middle and high school schools across the state.
