New Orleans writer Maurice Ruffin will visit The Porch in either the final quarter of 2023 or spring of 2024 to teach a two-hour writing workshop for adults, work with the students of Hume-Fogg Academy in the school’s Lunch and Learn program and creative writing class, and present a free, public reading of his work, with a conversation and Q&A to follow.
