During the 39th Original Gullah Festival at Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park in Historic Beaufort, SC, the Gullah Traveling Theater will perform 8-captivating vignettes bringing to life the heroes and sheroes who shaped the Gullah Geechee history and heritage. Following the performance, the characters will roam the festival, engaging festival-goers sharing lived experiences, answering questions, and allowing the 10,000+ expected visitors the opportunity to take a step into Lowcountry history.
