The Trail Town Arts Project will be dedicated to the promotion and preservation of Appalachian arts through a series of educational activities and a public showcase/festival. Over a period of months, foursession workshops in six areas—traditional songwriting, pottery, quilting, canning, instrument building and repair, and stringed instrument skills—will be offered to the public, ending with a showcase festival at the Olive Hill Center for Arts and Education in Olive Hill, KY.
