Nicole Zaleski

Nicole Zaleski was raised in Southern Louisiana by a family of storytellers with big personalities. At age 40, she enrolled in her first creative writing course through Gotham Writers Workshop to finally pursue her decades-long desire to write a novel. She has worked in the academic research enterprise for the last several years, where she has supported projects that engage with cutting edge technologies such as genetic engineering, cellular therapies, and artificial intelligence. Nicole holds an MA in Middle Eastern & North African Studies and an MPH in Global Health, both from the University of Arizona, and a BA in Women’s & Gender Studies, Psychology, and French from Louisiana State University. She lives in Nashville with her husband.
