Katherine Webb

Katherine Webb is an educator, editor, and an award-winning journalist covering culture, art, and politics, often reporting longform stories on the ways regressive laws impact the material reality of everyday lives. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, the Atlantic, Longreads, the Bitter Southerner, the Nation, Audubon Magazine, and elsewhere. As a development editor for an independent literary publisher, Hub City Press, she works with writers who have ties to the South. Slowly, she's writing a collection of short fiction set in her hometown in northern Alabama. She lives with her family in Birmingham.
