Presented by The Hiddenite Arts and Heritage Center, Celebration of The Arts takes place on the fourthSaturday in September annually since 1981 in the quaint town of Hiddenite, North Carolina, nestled in thefoothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The free street festival celebrates the culture and heritage of theAppalachian Region with period music, folk artists, craftspeople,and hands-on demonstrations that preservetraditional folk art and folkways essential to survival of early settlers.
