In celebration of Black History Month, FestivalSouth and the Hattiesburg Convention Commission presents, Shaheed and DJ Supreme of K.R.U. (Knowledge, Rhythm, Understanding) from Birmingham, AL, who will perform a hip hop performance and 2 workshops for all members of the community that will teach the four core elements, writing rhythms, breakdancing, drumming, and graffiti arts, to bring awareness to the historical aspects of hip hop culture and grow an appreciation for its impact on society.
