Hagood Mill Foundation

Kau-Ta-Noh-Jrs from the Tuscarora Nation of NC will conduct a two day residency engaging visitors and leading hands on workshops and performance programs showcasing various Native American dance and drumming techniques. Project scholar and Folk Heritage Award recipient, Nancy Basket, will discuss myth and legend stories of the Cherokee people and also discuss differences in basket making techniques, traditions, and construction materials among the Native people of our region.
