Three community-created murals establishing crosswalks in one of Augusta's most hazardous intersections, matched with crosswalk striping, ADA sidewalk cutouts, and pedestrian-activated crossing signals to alert cars of people walking. This initiative primarily serves the Black, working class residents in East Augusta housing who must cross a multi-lane street to access businesses, community centers, and bus stops on the other side, as well as the way to Downtown Augusta.
