The activity for which I am seeking support is Composing in the Wilderness, which is a composition residency in conjunction with the Fairbanks Arts Festival, in Alaska. The event occurs in the second half of July 2024 and I will be located at Denali National Park for most of the program, with performances in the local area. Composing in the Wilderness is a composition program, started by composer Stephen Lias, that now works with Fairbanks Arts Festival, and Alaska Geographic.
