About the Artist

Del performs early-20th-century American music. He is the exclusive house band of Maison Premiere in Brooklyn, NY. He has lead his ensemble performing for the New York Philharmonic Gala 2021, private parties for liquor brands including Chartreuse, and multiple times for the Whitney Museum of Art in New York. Del studies music privately with Jason Marsalis. He has earned three degrees: Berklee College of Music, M.M. Contemporary Performance, summa cum laude. The Principia College, B.A. Music, highest honors. El Paso Community College, A.A., honors. Del is heavily influenced by the music of New York, Tokyo, and St. Louis. Some of his greatest musical influences are Max Roach, Zooty Singleton, Baby Dodds, Art Blakey, Sonny Rollins, Washboard Sam, Jimmie Rodgers, The Carter Family, Bob Wills, Derek Sivers, Louis Armstrong, Bix Beiderbeck, Wynton Marsalis, and The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra.
