In April 2018, Christian Brothers University will host the Southern Literary Festival, which is a consortium of over 20 universities and colleges in the South. We plan to have nationally renowned writer, Chris Offut give two talks: one that is free and open to the public and the other to Shelby County High School students. This conference/festival expects to have 300 attendees and 12 area writers, who will give talks, workshops, and panel discussions.
