Christian Brothers University will collaborate with 10 other organizations to host Memphis Reads, a month-long community read based on Jesmyn Ward's book Salvage the Bones, culminating in a three-day residency by the author including: one community talk and Q&A for the general public, one private event for a select group of 1,200 Shelby County high school students, and two interviews aired via radio to the general public, as well as parallel events hosted by each of the partner organizations.
