The Central Mississippi Blues Society, Inc. will host three video production. sessions, one each in November and December to video the Blue Monday Band in performance with Harmonica Jock Webb, a well-known blues harmonica player from Birmingham, Alabama. Each session will result in an hour-long set including music and a vignette of Alabama blues history and culture, presented by Webb, using an interview format. The productions will take place at Hal & Mal's Restaurant in downtown Jackson, Mississippi, the home of CMBS's Blue Monday (Blue Monday is a weekly formerly-live blues show produced by CMBS). There will be no live audience and no ticket sales. The one-hour shows will be streamed, one a week, free on the CMBS FB page, in mid-November through December 2020. Arrangements will be made with the Veterans Affairs facilities in Jackson (Veterans' Home and VA Medical Center) and with a youth group associated with a CMBS musician member to organize a "watch party", one for each group. To facilitate the educational purpose of the events, an interactive Q&A session will be available through the "chat" feature of Facebook streaming.
