The Appalachian Theater will conduct a two-day residency with filmmaker Elaine McMillion Sheldon as part of the 2024 Boone Docs Film Festival. This residency will include a public workshop, a screening of Sheldon's 2022 documentary King Coal followed by a discussion with the filmmaker, and a meet and greet session with emerging filmmakers at the festival.
