Marta Sánchez Quintet
Marta Sánchez Quintet was created around 2013. Since then, the group has released four albums: “Partenika” (2015), “Danza imposible” (2017), “El Rayo de Luz” (2019) on Fresh Sounds Records and “SAAM (Spanish American Art Museum) (2022) on Whirlwind Recordings.
All of the albums received great reviews from the American press being two of these records, “Partenika” and “El Rayo de Luz” selected by The New York Times as one of the 10 best albums of 2015 and Best 10 jazz albums of 2019. Her records have been featured at The New York TImes, The Wall Street Journal, “Fresh Air”, DownBeat, WBGO, among many other outlets. The quintet has performed in the more prestigious venues of New York, as Birdland, Blue Note, The Jazz Gallery, or Roulette Intermedium among many others. In Europe, it has performed at prestigious venues and festivals such as Jazz Festival Vitoria Gasteiz, or Madrid Jazz Festival. Recently the quintet toured in Europe playing at the Algeciras Jazz Festival, Birdland in Neuburg (Germany), Sotckwerk in Graz (Austria) and Jimmy Glass in Valencia (Spain). In The United States, the quintet has played at the Winter Jazz Festival in New York and on the West Coast (Blue Whale in LA, Chez Hanny in San Francisco and California Conservatory in Berkeley). With the exception of the performances in New York, all the concerts have been played totally or partially with local musicians, and not with the original musicians.

Marta Sanchez
Marta Sanchez is a pianist and composer from Spain who came to New York almost 11 years ago to do a in Jazz Piano Performance at NYU thanks to a Fulbright Scholarship.Her personal and unique writing has been praised in all major outlets. Marta was awarded the prestigious MacDowell grant in 2017 and 2021.

John Ellis has established himself as one of New York’s premier tenor saxophonists since his arrival in 1997, he’s since worked with artists as bass John Patitucci, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Miguel Zenón, Darcy James Argue, Charlie Hunter, or Sting. His discography lists more than 100 album credits as a sideman,
Alex Lore
Alex LoRe is one of the most in-demand alto saxophonists and composers on the New York music scene. LoRe has been featured at venues such as New York City’s Alice Tully Hall and Museum of Modern Art, the Jazz at Ravinia Festival held at the Stean’s Institute for Young Artists in Chicago, the Monterey Jazz Festival in California, among others. Mr. LoRe has released three albums—“Dream House” (2014). “More Figs and Blue Things” (2016) and “Karol” (2019)
Rashaan Carter
Rashaan has become entrenched in the jazz scene and has worked with Benny Golson, Curtis Fuller and Louis Hayes, Wallace Roney, Marc Cary, Cindy Blackman, Doug and Jean Carn, Antoine Roney, Sonny Simmons, and many more.
Allan Mednard
He has performed with artists including Kurt Rosenwinkel, Aaron Parks, Ben Street, Ben Allison, Godwin Louis, Andrew D’Angelo, Alix Ambroise, Jaleel Shaw, Le Boeuf Brothers, Melissa Aldana, and many more.
