Recognized by Downbeat Magazine with the "Outstanding Solo Jazz Performance" award, Tamburr is a seven-time recipient of the "Critics Choice Top Rising Star" award on vibraphone. Leading his critically acclaimed touring ensemble, he has showcased his talents at prestigious venues such as the Kennedy Center, The Newport Jazz Festival, and Lincoln Center. In August 2019, Tamburr premiered "Sounds For Sculpture: The Awakening," a multi-sensory project featuring original compositions inspired by the bronze sculptures of renowned artist Seward Johnson.

William "Billy" Vann Thornton, the bass instructor at Georgia State University School of Music, previously taught at Jacksonville University in Florida. With over two decades of performance experience in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East, Thornton brings a wealth of expertise to his role.
Marlon Patton, a drummer and music producer/engineer based in New York and Atlanta, follows in the footsteps of a drumming lineage dating back to his grandfather, Phil Patton, a Chicago big band circuit player. Patton's diverse musical schedule includes membership in various ensembles such as Kenosha Kid, Weisshund, Nelson Patton, Lonnie Holley, The Trey Wright Trio, and The Mace Hibbard Quintet.
